NEWCASTLE DIET PLAN WITH KEEDIET®

Delicious, Nutritious & Satisfying - Drop weight, Reverse Type 2 Diabetes & Burn Fat FAST!

Following the Newcastle University Diet Plan with The KeeDiet®

Our intention is not to rewrite this plan, instead we have structured our Newcastle Diet Plan to follow the recommendations and provide an alternative to Optifast Products used in the Study.  Type 2 diabetes can cause some heavy damage if left unchecked, and the Newcastle Diet with KeeDiet is here to help!

According to the research, recent TV programmes and Diabetes UK, subjects who went on the Newcastle Diet for 8 weeks no longer showed any trace of having diabetes.  What’s even better, after their check-in after the study, they had remained free of diabetes for the three months after returning to normal eating

Please click here for information on how to follow the Newcastle Diet Plan with KeeDiet®

Newcastle Diet Example Day:

> 3 x KeeDiet VLCD/MRP Diet Shakes / Soups

Mix your KeeDiet Mealpacks with all or part unsweetened Soya Milk to bring your daily meal replacement calorie total to the required 600 calories.  Calories vary for each pack so you may wish to check their calorie content and total your daily pack calories, then add the required unsweetened soya milk to fulfil the 600 calorie requirement.  If you wish to mix your packs with water instead you can then use the necessary unsweetened soya milk as a seperate drink or addition to your tea or coffee (100ml = 33 calories).  *We recommend unsweetened soya milk is used as the sugar content from lactose is low.  However studies show that using skimmed milk should not affect blood sugar levels due to its low glycaemic index and slow break down in the body.  If you require further information please discuss this choice with your Doctor.

> 200 Calories (250g) of Vegetables / Salad)

Consume a variety of permitted vegetables and salad each day.  This equates to approximately 250g per day. Ideally you should consume them in 3 separate portions. You can have all these vegetables. You can boil, grill, dry fry, stir fry, wrap in tin foil, and roast in the oven. Try different lettuces such as rocket and crispy leaf, try adding different types of fat free, low calorie dressings to add some different flavours, our Walden Farm Salad Dressings are perfect for the Newcastle Diet. Using herbs and vinegars can also help with flavour.

Newcastle University Vegetable Selection List:-

Vegetable/Salad: Artichoke, Celery, Onions, Broccoli, Cucumber, Peppers, Brussel sprouts, Leeks, Radish, Cabbage, Lettuce, Tomatoes,Carrots, Mung bean sprouts,Water chestnuts, Cauliflower, Mushrooms. This selection can be extended using the low gi/gl rule and making further choices from the lowest selection foods.
